I've been doing this work for over 15 years, and I still genuinely love it. I started my career in 2005 working with underserved communities, spent years at CORE Professional Services, and eventually founded North Star after relocating to Frisco from Minnesota in 2019.
My style is warm and direct. I'm not going to just nod and say "and how does that make you feel?" for an hour. We'll laugh, we'll dig into the hard stuff, and we'll build a plan that works in your actual life — not some textbook version of it.

We're a private-pay practice. Many of our clients choose this because they want their therapy to stay between them and their therapist — no insurance company looking over anyone's shoulder.
